How To Remove a Leg Bandage

Step 1

Lift up the portion of bandage securing the tapes (this is not necessary if the bandage is secured with Velcro).


Step 2

Undo the Velcro or tapes completely.


Step 3

Passing the bandage from one hand to the other, begin removing it from the leg.

Whilst removing the bandage from the leg do not:

  • pull the bandage, or place pressure against any area of the leg.
  • re-roll the bandage back up.

Step 4

Once you reach the end of the bandage, remove it from the leg.


Step 5

If applicable, remove the under-padding.


Step 6

Run your hand down the leg to straighten the hairs.

Correctly re-roll the bandages.
